Company Directory

This was my second project. The task was to "provide functionality to interact with a back end server database from a mobile or desktop based client that allows for creation, retrieval and modification of company personnel ...

The data [was] to be presented in a directory that allows for easy searching of staff, departments and locations by single or multiple criteria. [It was supposed] a mobile first development but it must work equally well on desktop PCs."

I managed to complete the task fairly quickly as the main difference between this task and the first one was the the data source which I was expected to use. While this required some use of SQL statements I have found this fairly easy to do to achieveve the planned result.

Due to limited time before the course deadline I elected to not include a search or sort features to be on the safe side deadline-wise. To include these features now would require some restructuring of the existing code but it doesn't really seem like much of a challenge.
